Hi everyone! My name is Lindsey Frey, and I teach first grade at Altama Elementary School in Brunswick, Georgia.
I graduated from the College of Coastal Georgia with a dual-degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I am currently still in college working towards my Master's Degree at Georgia Southern University.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with my two puppies, and finding little adventures to go on.
As a teacher, I have a few beliefs.
I believe that EVERY child has the ability to learn and be successful.
I believe children should be given achievable challenges... Achievable challenges are things that they CAN DO but won't do easily. They will have to work for it.
I believe that my relationship with each child in my class is my first priority. A child won't learn from me if they don't feel safe, respected, and encouraged by me.
I believe each and every day will hold new challenges for me and my class, but I BELIEVE MY KIDS WORTH IT! (Yes, every child in my class becomes "my kid" the day they walk into my classroom!)
